Question by g g: Compare furnace brands Trane versus Westinghouse?
We’re trying to decide whether to spend the extra money on Trane. We’ve heard Westinghouse furnace and heat pumps are good quality and less expensive. Would like to get homeowners’ or hvac contractors’ opinions.

Trane is way over priced.You will be no happier if you own one compared to another less expensive unit.Ruud and Goodman are also quality units that are cost efficient.Warranties offered are just as good as those offered by Trane.
